How wonderful that Norman, Speak! and Jasper John Dooley, NOT in Love have been nominated for 2015-2016 Chocolate Lily Book Award!  Read the list of nominees for all three categories here.   On your mark, get set, start reading!

Yeah!  A Simple Case of Angels has been chosen by the Canadian Children’s Book Centre as a Best Book for Kids and Teens 2015!

Every year the VEPVPA chooses a book to donate to every elementary school library in Vancouver.  I’m thrilled that Norman, Speak! was this year’s choice.  I was lucky, too, have the chance to present the book to principals and vice principals and a select group of young readers.  Here is some of the artwork created for the event by Miyuki, a grade five student at Shaughnessy Elementary School.  Thank you VEPVPA!  Thank you Miyuki!
